Peter is currently the Bursar of the Bar Council of Northern Ireland, a position which he has held since September 2022.

Prior to becoming Bursar, Peter served on a number of previous Bar Councils and was Vice Chairman of the Council between 2020-2022.

He has also served on the Bar’s Professional Conduct Committee and is a Director on the board of King’s Counsel Appointments ( NI).

Peter was called to Bar in 1996 and took silk in 2014.

His practice specialises in the areas of Administrative Law , Judicial Review, Public Inquiries, Coroners Court and Inquests.

Peter is a Bencher of the Inn of Court of Northern Ireland.
